The logo represents a stylised book using the colors of the French flag. It also incorporates the green of Australia, the ‘A’ for Australia as well as the federal star in the Australian Flag.

The French Excellence Program commenced in 2015 at Tingalpa State School for Prep students, and the success of the program has resulted in its extension to Grade 1 and Grade 2/3 composite in 2016.
